Laughter – The best medicine!!!!

This joke struck my mind all of a sudden and can’t stop laughing, thinking about it.

My close friend X, very dear to me, can’t pronounce ‘ra’, and says ‘va’ instead. (She is 26, we pull her leg so much about it, but she is this bindaaas of the lot. Well, ’va’!!!!, but sounds hepp though….) She narrated this incident to me……

X went to a restaurant with her cousins, carrying a heavy shopping load
X and all others looking very sickly and tired, managed to get a place in the restaurant
Waiter - looking at X, as she was the one who looked like placing the order first, asked - “yen togolteera madam” (What do you prefer to have?? - in Kannada)
X exhausted and in a loud voice said“ Nange first NEEVU beku!!!!!” (Neevu is you in kannada). Now, she definitely meant NEERU (water), but you know pronunciation problem....
Waiter - !!@@##$$&&????? Shocked and then confused!
Cousins – NEEEERUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

Man! Imagine poor waiter’s confused mind........
